  • Routine lab work drawn right in the office

Postpartum & Newborn Care

  • Follow-up visits at two and six weeks postpartum (more as needed)

  • Newborn screening offered at the two-day and two-week visits

  • Congenital heart defect screening between 24–48 hours postpartum

  • RhoGam available as needed

  • Family planning discussion at your final appointment

  • Birth certificate filing handled by your midwife

If you've had a previous cesarean and are hoping for a vaginal birth this time, you don't have to navigate that decision alone. I support VBAC clients who are good candidates for home birth, and we'll talk openly through your full birth history, the evidence around VBAC, and your individual circumstances — honestly and without pressure — so you can decide what's right for you and your baby.

Every VBAC client is evaluated individually. We'll discuss things like your prior cesarean and recovery, the spacing between pregnancies, and how this pregnancy is progressing, and I'll always be upfront if home birth isn't the safest option for your specific situation. My goal isn't to talk you into anything — it's to make sure you have real information and a real voice in how this birth goes.

If you're considering a VBAC, the earlier we start that conversation, the more time we have to build a plan together.
